Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 July 2026
Draft for review. This policy was written to describe how the site actually behaves. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel check it before launch, and confirm the details marked below.
The short version
This website does not collect personal information. It has no contact form, no login and no shopping cart. If you want to work with Dana you are handed off to a separate booking service, and anything you type there is covered by that service’s own privacy policy. The sections below describe exactly what is and is not collected here.
What this site collects
As this page is written, nothing directly. The pages are static files, this site sets no cookies of its own, and no account is created by visiting it.
Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
Analytics or advertising tools may be added in future to understand how the site is used. If and when that happens, this page is updated before those tools go live, and it will name what is collected, who receives it and how to opt out. Check the date at the top of this page for the version you are reading.
Booking and enquiries
The buttons on this site link to a form hosted by HoneyBook, which Dana Ponsky uses to manage enquiries and client relationships. When you submit that form, the information goes to HoneyBook and to Dana. Their handling of it is governed by HoneyBook's privacy policy.
If you email or call instead, Dana receives your message directly and keeps it only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, to provide the service.
Student information
Working with a student means Dana receives information such as academic records, test results, essay drafts and family circumstances. This is used only to advise that student. It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing. It is shared with a college or third party only when the family asks Dana to do so.
Students under 18
Dana works with high school students, many of whom are minors. Engagements are entered into by a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian may ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what information Dana holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@consultwithdana.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, and those requests are honored.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
