There’s no one I trust more with college admissions!
I had the pleasure of having Ms. Ponsky work with two of my daughters in the college application process. As foreigners, we didn’t understand how it all worked, and with her guidance and knowledge the process was smooth and very successful for everybody.
Applying to college was not a calm time in my life, and without Dana Ponsky I probably would have exploded. Not only did she keep me on top of deadlines and any updates with the universities I applied to, but her honesty and dedication to my case brought me down to earth. She made me feel confident that I was doing my best to get into the school of my dreams, and that if I didn’t, it would be okay. In the end I ended up exactly where I wanted to be, Emory University, and I really owe a lot of that to Dana’s willingness to read through every essay and help me through the process.
Dana Ponsky was indispensable to our three children’s academic success in high school and carefully stewarded the college application process for each of them. She brings a very strong skill set to this daunting task as well as other great talents: an unfailing sense of humor, inexhaustible patience, and a deep knowledge and understanding of every student. Dana made very well reasoned recommendations about particular universities, identified possibilities our children would likely never have otherwise considered, and consoled them when the occasion merited it. She was an essential partner in our school and parent alliance, and her relationship with our children has endured ever since.
What this list does, and doesn't, mean
Every student's situation is different. This list shows the range of institutions Dana's families have ended up at, not a formula and not a promise. It is not an admission rate, and it says nothing about any individual student's odds. The right college is the one that fits the student, and finding that fit is the work Dana does with every family.
