What this website is
This site describes the independent college admissions counseling services offered by Dana Ponsky. The material on it is general information, not personal advice. Reading it does not create a counselor and client relationship. That begins only when a written agreement is signed.
No guarantee of admission
Admission decisions are made by colleges and universities, not by Dana. Nothing on this site is a promise, prediction or guarantee that any student will be admitted to any institution, receive financial aid, or achieve any particular outcome. Lists of colleges where past students have been admitted describe the past. They are not a forecast.
No affiliation with any institution
Dana Ponsky is independent. She is not employed by, affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any college or university, and she receives no compensation from any institution for recommending it.
Accuracy of information
Admissions deadlines, testing policies, fees and financial aid rules change often and vary by institution. Reasonable care is taken to keep this site current, but always confirm anything time-sensitive against the institution's own published information before acting on it.
Your responsibilities
Students and families are responsible for the accuracy and honesty of everything they submit in an application. Dana advises, edits and guides. She does not write essays or complete applications on a student's behalf, and she will not assist with any submission that misrepresents a student.
Intellectual property
The text, structure and materials on this site, including the C.A.M.P.U.S. framework, belong to Dana Ponsky Consulting Services LLC. You may read and share pages. You may not reproduce the material as your own or use it commercially without written permission.
Third party links
This site links to services including HoneyBook and to external resources. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices and are outside Dana's control.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Dana Ponsky Consulting Services LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its general information. Services delivered under a signed client agreement are governed by that agreement, which takes precedence over this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Dana Ponsky Consulting Services LLC is registered.
