How to Transfer to the University of Maryland

That brief rewards specificity: the program, the coursework you have completed, and the academic reason this move makes sense now. General enthusiasm uses up the word count without saying anything.
Credits are the part to get right early
Admission and credit evaluation are separate questions, and the second determines whether you arrive as a sophomore or repeat a year. Ask for a preliminary evaluation and confirm whether credits count toward your intended major or only as electives. Maryland also publishes information on transfer merit scholarships, which operate separately from the freshman awards.
